Beth Hanlon is Vice President and General Counsel for Drax Biomass. In this role, she is responsible for all company legal affairs, risk management and insurance matters.
Beth joined Drax Biomass with more than 15 years of legal experience, including 12 years as in-house counsel in the manufacturing sector. Most recently, she served as Senior Counsel at Interface, one of the first companies to publicly commit to sustainability when it made a pledge in the mid-1990s to eliminate its impact on the environment by 2020. Beth’s areas of responsibility included global contracts, policies, IT, and employment matters.
She is active in the Association of Corporate Counsel, and holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida.
